Buoyed by a sensational win in France, Italy will be looking for back-to-back Nations League victories when they take on Israel at Bozsik Aréna (Budapest) on Tuesday.
Israel vs Italy Betting Tips - Italy to win
Having picked up one of their best results in years, Italy returns to action in neutral Hungary with another win in their sights against Israel. Despite falling behind to a Bradley Barcola goal in the first minute, an impressive response saw the italians claim a surprise 3:1 win in Paris.
Goals from Fede Di Marco, Davide Frattesi and Giacomo Raspadori put the seal on a first win in four matches for the Azzurri.
Led by Luciano Spalletti, the Italians had endured a tough summer following a less than stellar showing at Euro 2024 saw them win just one of four matches (against Albania) while scoring only three goals. However, after Friday′s fine victory, Spalletti will now expect his side to back up that performance with another three points on Tuesday.
Israel comes into this contest after slipping to a 3:1 defeat against Belgium at this venue on Friday. Despite a positive first-half showing, Kevin de Bruyne′s double strike put the seal on a well-earned win for the Red Devils.
Ran Ben Shimon′s side, competing in League A for the first-time in their history, have struggled to find much solid form over the past year. Israel lost five and won only two of eight games played since last September. Simon′s men conceded 13 goals across those five defeats including four against Iceland, and three against Hungary and the aforementioned Belgians.
While likely to put in a competitive display, Israel are again likely to come unstuck against an Italian side that will surely feel a huge surge of confidence after their big win at the Parc des Princes.
I′m backing Italy to win, while I also expect both teams to score in a likely competitive matchup in Hungary.

Italy team news
Head coach Spalletti seems likely to retain faith in much of the same XI that won in France. Riccardo Calafiori is set to miss out after limping off against France. Alessandro Buongiorno will deputise.
Newcastle midfielder Sandro Tonali is expected to keep his place after completing 90 minutes at the Parc des Princes.
